It is the most populous city in Turkey and it is the cultural, economic and historic center  in that country too. 
Istanbul is the most strategically important city in the world. This city is located in two continents and it is divided by the Bosphorus Strait. This means that Istanbul is located on one of the busiest waterways in the world, the Bosphorus Straight, which links the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara and the Mediterranean Sea and a land route between Europe and Asia.
                               
Istanbul is one of the greatest cities in the world where you can see a traditional eastern city combined with a modern western city. It is also one of the largest cities in the world.

In Istanbul there are a lot of universities like Istanbul University that is the most important university in Turkey.

The mosques are the most magnificent architectural expression of Islamic piety in Istanbul. One of the most important mosque is The Blue Mosque or Sultan Ahmed Mosque. It is a historic mosque and a popular tourist site. This mosque is located next to  Hagia Sophia, another popular tourist site.

Istanbul is as antique as Rome. These cities were founded thousands of years ago.

Istambul is more populous than Rome.

This city is a tourist attraction, but living in Istanbul is cheaper than living in Rome.

Rome is as beautiful as Istanbul. 

This city is the most popular tourist attraction in Italy and it is one of the most populous city in the European Union. Rome has one of the largest areas of green space among European capitals.

Public parks and nature reserves cover a large area in this wonderful city.

Rome is one of the most ancient cities in the world and it is one  of the most important cultural centers in Europe.

Roma is smaller than Istanbul, but it is a fantastic city to travel.
Hotels in Rome are more expensive than hotels in Istanbul.
